Landcover Analysis/POCD Example
GIS Consulting
This is the power point presentation that represents the PDF file below of the GIS maps made by me. This project is an example of my team working skills as a GIS Consultant for the Franklin Park Zoo. This copy was mailed to the Zoo Authorities a week after it was published.
This is the final copy of the report. This report highlights an emergency map for snow removal and an emergency map for escaped animal enclosures.
Spatial Analysis: Population and Transportation
The purpose of this project was to recreate Boston's Department of Transportation Equal Access to Public Transport Project to verify their data statistics. the results ended up being accurate just like depicted in BTD's project. This is apart of the Boston Equity in Transportation Project I did during my time as a student with Dr. Luna. This word document illustrates maps made to analyze population groups and their access to public transportation. This first icon is population, the middle icon displays highway access, commuter rail access, and amount of hospital bed access during the morning, afternoon, and evenings times of day. The third word icon displays AM, MD, and PM, commuter rails to hospital locations in Boston. This also included rapid transit locations and walking.
This project is my LATEST and most RECENT. This is from my thesis, where I conducted multiple data analysis. This shows raster layers analyzed with Kriging to display a methane cover over the city of Salem. The pink are high concentrations of gas and the blue are lower concentrations of gas.
This project analyzed the Great Salem fire of 1914 using ArcPy and Pyhton to create databases run analysis using GIS Tools through the use of ArcMap. This was created with the help of the GIS Administrator (Jack Nessen) from the City of Salem, who worked to create the fire and boundary layers needed for this analysis.
This Project uses my skills in Python to create a large database for Lockheed Martin's Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. This project was a GIS Consultant project with the use of Python, ArcPy, and ArcMap to create this database. My client was David M. Driver-Sikorsky's top flight presidential flight inspector based in Stratford, CT.

Digitizing Satellite Data
This attachment is my first time working with databases and digitizing. It takes place in West Haven, CT and was used as a final project for a GIS course at SCSU.

The map to the right was made during my time at Salem state and is 100% digitized and measured from google satellite images.
